You Can Vote From Wherever You Live.

Whether you're from Kalamazoo, the Upper Peninsula, or as far away as Texas, you reserve the right (and responsibility) to vote in your campus towns local elections.

How to Vote as an Out-of-Kalamazoo College Student

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

*If you are filling out a paper application as a Western Student, you can drop off your completed form on Floor 3 of Wood Hall in the School for Environment, Geography, & Sustainability offices, and the Climate Voters Team will submit it for you!

Find your Polling Location

FIND YOUR POLLING LOCATION

Directions:

1.  Click "OK"

2. Click the Layers        button & 

   select "Voting Information"

      (you can unclick all other filters)

3. Type your address into the 

    search bar

4. Click on the map at your

   address to reveal your precinct

   number

5. Click the      arrow and follow

    the link to see your polling

    location OR Explore the Polling

    Locations       until you find the

    one that matches the precinct

    number at your address

**Note: This feature only works with Kalamazoo City addresses. To find your polling location for addresses outside the City of Kalamazoo, visit this resource.

2024 Election Season Important Dates:

  • Oct 21: All Mail-In Registration Applications must be post-marked

  • OCT 22: ALL ONLINE REGISTRATION APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED

  • Oct 26: Early Voting begins (In-person and Absentee)*

  • Nov 1: Deadline for receiving mail-in Absentee Ballot Request

  • Nov 4: Deadline for requesting Absentee Ballot in-person

  • Nov 5: Deadline for submitting in-person voter registration applications and receiving mail-in ballots

  • Nov 5: Election Day!
